The state Justice Department has won a $111,861 judgment against Relief Law Center Inc. for violating consumer protection laws, Attorney General J.B. nfl throwback jerseys Van Hollen said Friday.
The California company, which does business as USA Loan Auditors, was accused of being deceptive and misleading in soliciting homeowners for purported loan modification services, Van Hollen said in a statement. The solicitations were designed to appear as though the company was a loan auditor investigating the homeowner's lender, the statement said.
The judgment was obtained following the company's failure to answer the complaint
